As the year is drawing to a close I found myself kicking through the pictures we have taken this year. There have been BIG changes for us in 2008. I left my job at Grant MacEwan in April to start working freelance and launch the eduStyle Awards. We lived with Cody and Cindi in Stirling for a month before we could settle our new place in student residence at the University of Lethbridge.
This year was a traveling year for me. I went to present the eduStyle Awards in Atlantic City, New Jersey in July. On my return we immediately drove down to Wyoming for the McBride Family Reunion. In November I was invited to present at the College Communicators Conference in Harrinsonburg, Virginia. It gave me a chance to see Washington, DC in the aftermath of the election.
Clarissa started back at University while I learned how to juggle stay-at-home/work-at-home duties. Owen also started in Kindergarten while Ellie started taking Dance Class. Lots of change for us, but it has been a real adventure and worth the ride in my opinion.
