The impending election has got me thinking. Whenever federal politics comes up I repeatedly hear, "better the devil you know than the devil you don’t." Do Canadians really believe that? Would you conduct your business based on that nugget? How about personal relationships? I know I wouldn’t.
When you vote, I hope you’ll consider basing it on this one instead:
"Fool me once
Shame on you
Fool me twice
Shame on me."
I really can’t relate to how eastern Canadians think. The devil they know is pretty stinking bad. Although on the flip side, the devil they know treats them pretty well. This is something I found last week. Look at the recipients:
