Scripture tag

Scriptures + Tags = Scripture tag.

I combined a tagging engine and a scriptures database to create a community scripture tagging website. confused? Go and see what I mean:

http://scriptures.circa1978.com
http://www.scripturetag.com

This is an early version. I am hoping to expand this soon, so if you have any ideas, please leave them in the comments here.

    Nice.
However, there isn’t a way to remove tags, in the case of an error.
Or maybe I haven’t found it yet.

Is there anyway you can set it up to e-mail me every time a new scripture is tagged?… to see if I want to tag it to my favorites?

A way to Bookmark chapters (within the user system) so you can go back to where you left off.
I see you are working on getting this feature… Can’t wait!! Let me know when you have it working,… Thanks

Um. ok. Well here are the answers:

    Why are unbiblical books included?
Because Mormons believe in continuing revelation. “We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.”

Would you even think GOD approves of this?
I wouldn’t run the site if I didn’t think that God would approve.

I was going to put something like this together for my personal use using MDP. I was thinking of your own topical guide if you like which this app of course is. Would be good once you can tag any content from lds.org. I guess del.icio.us could give you similar functionality if you just tag the Church site as you can tag talks and lessons if you putting together a talk on the atonement for example. Great work though.
